Museum galleries
Inaugurated in 1995, the museum's permanent galleries bring together the primary evidence of prehistoric times, the Iberian culture, and the Roman era within the Valencian territory.
The first floor presents the areas dedicated to the Paleolithic, Neolithic, and the Metal Ages, showcasing such outstanding pieces as the human remains from Cova del Bolomor, the engraved plaques from Cova del Parpalló, or the cardial-ornamented vessels from Cova de l’Or (Beniarrés).
The second floor is dedicated to the Iberian Culture and the Roman World, highlighting emblematic collections such as the vessels with figurative decoration from Sant Miquel de Llíria, the Iberian lead sheets, the Font de Mussa mosaic, or the Apollo of Pinedo.
The permanent exhibition is completed by the History of Money galleries, which display the evolution of monetary systems over time and across different world cultures.
